3D Printing | March 24, 2017 | Hey you --
I hope you weren't too disappointed by me NOT including any content last week.
I don't believe in sticking to a regular schedule, if the content I am going to send is garbage.
So, my question to you is: In the event that I don't have anything worthwhile to share with you, would you rather receive OLD RESOURCES or RECEIVING NOTHING (which is what I have been doing -- although, I try to send some brain food or a quote that's more "life-related")
Please let me know by hitting reply :)
I'd love to know!
It's nothing serious. I've only sent "nothing" twice within a year, maybe?
Anyway, enjoy today's digest!

| | Kirstie Brewer - bbc.com Interesting story. Warning: Sadness head. | | Brian Heater - techcrunch.com I thought Makerbot was dead, but apparently not. This is definitely quite cool though. The idea is to calculate the minimum required support structure/infill to shave off your print time considerably. | | Sam Davies - tctmagazine.com Some great news from my local neighborhood. These guys have been doing some really impressive stuff in the past year. | | Laura Hockaday - womenin3dprinting.com Good case study of 3D Printing in the healthcare industry. | | Amy Davey - 3dprintingindustry.com Good overview of how 3D Printing applies in healthcare. | | Trade Arabia - tradearabia.com The company mentioned (WinSun) was the company behind the Dubai Construction I shared months ago. WinSun is behind those big concrete 3D Printers. | | Rocket Lab USA - rocketlabusa.com This is a aerospace company based out of Los Angeles and New Zealand. Including it in the digest as they utilize 3D Printing techniques in their prototyping/production process. | | Under Armour - underarmour.com It's fun to see a commercial product coming out next week that has utilized (powdered?) 3D Printing. | | General Fabb - fabbaloo.com This particular post is quite good. Although, Voodoo manufacturing's flashy video MAY be questionable and full of marketing special effects. For one, they claim to be the "FIRST" to do this type of thing, From what I understand, Stratasys already did something like this LAST year. Anyway, I am including this as I have covered Voodoo several times in the digest. | | rczqpu2 - reddit.com This is a fun DIY project that I came across. The owner 3D Printed a reproduction of his 1955 Mercedes Gullwing 300 SL. What's cool is that the reproduction has MORE detail than the original. | | Brian Heater - techcrunch.com Interesting. | | General Fabb - fabbaloo.com What a mess. | | Alex Knapp - forbes.com This is heavily manufacturer & dentistry related, but still interesting. Try this version if you are too much of a rebel to turn off your AdBlocker for Forbes. | | e3d - e3d-online.com Looks like E3D just (quietly) released a hotend/heat sink combo. These guys do some quality engineering. | | | You are receiving this email because you believe that the best startup articles and videos are made by active members of the startup community.
