12-Year-Old Builds 3D Printer with Legos

amoghp - instructables.com

This is quite a neat project -- especially if you have any kids that are interested in 3D Printed. It's difficult, interesting and worthwhile enough for it to be worth it. A fun little DIY project for the ambitious young folks. In addition to the video, you can find instructions here: http://www.instructables.com/id/LEGO-Mindstorms-EV3D-Printer/

Sri Ravipati - campustechnology.com

Shapeways EDU has partnered with the New York Public Library to create a free, open source curriculum that covers the entrepreneurship side of 3D Printing and modeling. This is essentially a pilot program consisting of courses/classes that will last about 10-weeks. If you are in New York, check it out.

Micro3D Releases the M3D Pro Printer

Conor Cawley - tech.co

M3D has released a new PRO printer in the hopes of attracting more consumers and advanced users. M3D is a pretty successful 3D Printer manufacturer that raised over a $1 million+ in 24 hours with their original 3D Printer, so this is going to be interesting.
