It's a great interview, especially at around the 11 minute mark when he starts talking about the different buckets of innovation in the space. Check it out! | | Vanessa Mason, MPH // Erica Levine - Medium Vanessa Mason and Erica Levine continue their 5 part series on innovating for at risk populations. Part 4 is all about how to measure impact and evaluate your intervention, which frankly is important for all digital health companies. | | Robert Kocher MD; Anuraag Chigurupati, MS - NEJM A great overview of the nuances of MACRA from an incentive stand point and how the reauthorization of CHIP will impact shared savings structures between primary care physicians (PCPs) and specialists. | | Paul Tunnah - Pharma Phorum There have been a few articles over the last couple years about the role of social media in medical conferences. This piece from Pharma Phorum uses ASCO 2016 as a prism to look at pharma's interaction with the digerati of the medical sphere (spoiler alert - pharma is not doing well in this realm). I'm particularly interested in this as we see more collaboration happen digitally and we start to democratize information sharing in medicine (something I am very passionate about). | | Scott Munro - Medium My Q&A with Ben Holber of YoDerm going over his time at 500 Startups, his approach to B2C in health care, and more. | | Dr. Vish Banthia - TechCrunch I generally try not to link to TechCrunch articles, but I felt this one was actually a pretty good overview of how digital health will become more ubiquitous based on consumer trends. I tend to agree with Dr. Jordan Schlain that we are not yet true "consumers" of health care because often we lack the choice that a true consumer would have. That being said, Dr. Banthia does have some thoughts on what factors will push more consumerism in the space in this piece. | | Katelin McCabe - Digital-Health-Innovations-San-Diego "San Diego has become a hub for companies making incredible advancements in biotech, life sciences, and mobile health technology. [This] upcoming event will put a spotlight on a handful of individuals who all play a unique role within [this] startup community." | | | You are receiving this email because you believe that the best startup articles and videos are made by active members of the startup community.
