Startup Highlight: Mindful Scientific

Mindful Scientific has a device that gives clinicians a more accurate reading for concussions. The standard of care is woefully medieval, so it's no wonder that they recently won the WSJD Live Startup Show Case.

There are some other pretty technologies trying to solve this issue, but Mindful Scientific is certainly the furthest along.

The American Cancer Society released a new protocol urging women to get mammograms at 45 instead of 40. Five Thirty Eight had a great analysis of why this happened, and why there are differences in opinion on when to start screenings.
