3D Printing | November 25, 2016 | Hey there.
If you are in the United States, Happy Thanksgiving.
I rarely celebrate Thanksgiving.
The idea of celebrating murder by murdering a bunch of turkeys and feasting over them in a room full of annoying, passive aggressive family members is just too much irony and comedy to be deemed 'celebratory', for me.
But, turkey is indeed delicious ;)
Anyway, in this week's digest, we will be covering:
1.) Spiders and nano 3D Printing 2.) Podcasts 3.) 3D Printing in space 4.) 3D Printing in metal 5.) Women in 3D Printing 6.) Japan's ambitions in bioprinting 7.) Bullets 8.) Printing affordable houses & Large objects
That's about it!
Hope you enjoy the holidays!
P.S: I found a super neat website recently that allows you to watch a bunch of cool stuff about the earth LIVE (like C02, wind etc.), check it out.

I didn't even know nano 3D printing was a thing. | | Todd Grimm - soundcloud.com Considering that a lot of folks (including myself) are still pretty optimistic about the potential of 3D Printing against a world that is pessimistic about the technology, this is an interesting podcast to listen to on the topic. | | Sam Davies - tctmagazine.com A bunch of geeks at University of Birmingham has allegedly developed a prototype for a 3D Metal Printer that can function in zero gravity (i.e: astronauts). I have personally 3D Printed one of NASA's wrenches at home, but this is certainly interesting. | | Cell Ink - soundcloud.com If you are interested in Bioprinting, CellInk just started a podcast. Check it out. If you are interested in 3D Printing related podcasts, I have curated some of the best ones here (scroll down all the way to the bottom and find "Best Media"). | | TCT - tctmagazine.com Some specific metal 3D Printing related highlights from formnext. | | Women in 3D Printing - womenin3dprinting.com I wasn't aware that this resource existed. Bunch of good stuff in here. Check it out - especially if you are female in this male dominated industry. | | Kazuaki Nagata - japantimes.co.jp I don't know much about bioprinting, but the idea of regenerative cartilage and tissue is insane. Oh, and this article is good. | | unknown - unknown This is a Russian(?) article that I had to use Google Translate to read. It claims to have tested bullets that were manufactured using additive manufacturing. Judging by the domain, it looks like a Russian government website? I think? Let me know if I got that wrong. | | This is by Larry Haines. | | Thanks to Andrew Muhtar for sending this my way. :) | | | You are receiving this email because you believe that the best startup articles and videos are made by active members of the startup community.
