Essentially, it allows you to create MULTI-MATERIAL models for 3D Printing. Think of the 'layers' in photoshop but with actual material. For example, if you wanted to 3D Print a cup with a specific material than have a rubberized handle, you could design the entire thing on Foundry. | | Steve-3D - thingiverse.com Going to include this for amusement. It's a pair of earrings that's designed to catch your earbuds if they fall out of your ears. Probably overkill and won't get you laid, but still amusing. | | fntsmn - instructables.com Quite badass. | | Maker Faire - makerfairerome.edu I forget if I mentioned this, but if you are in the area, go check out Maker Faire Rome. It's going on right now. If you haven't gone to Maker Faire before, I highly recommend it -- especially if you have kids.
