3D Hubs does a quarterly 3D Printing trends report and it's always fun to see where things are headed in the world of 3D Printing. Check it out. 

NASA's library of Free 3D Printable Models

If you weren't aware, NASA actually has a pretty decent library of 3D Printable models on their website. NASA has done things like emailing a 3D Printable wrench to the International Space Station and Astronauts would 3D Print the wrench to do repairs. I have printed this same wrench from the NASA website. Check it out -- this is especially fun if you are introducing children into 3D Printing.

3D Printable Medical Models

National Institutes of Health - nih.gov

The National Institutes of health also has a decent repository of 3D Printable models -- this is especially useful if for medical students and high school students studying biology or chemistry. Check it out.
