3D Printing Reading List | February 05, 2016 | As my mom finished serving the brisket, she flippantly exclaims: "..This 3D Printing thing you've been babbling about is just hype. Why would busy adults want to print useless crap anyway.."
This is actually not an uncommon view - even amongst the tech savvy crowd.
Most consumers don't realize that 3D Printing is 30+ years old. The main difference is that, for the first time ever, regular old (non techie) consumers are considering buying a 3D Printer for their household.
So, what's the remedy for this inherent skepticism?
The first step is to step way way back and gain some historical perspective.
Below are some EXCELLENT resources on how to do that.
Also, if you haven't already, check out how much the internet is interested in 3D Printing.
So, the next time your friend starts blabbing negatively about 3D Printing, throw some (3D Printed) useless crap at them. Just kidding ;)
