Now Hiring! - Techstars Program Manager, Berlin

Along with the Managing Director, the Program Manager (“PM”) is tasked with the success of a particular Techstars program. This opportunity affords high visibility and responsibility as the PM works side by side with a prominent Managing Director, helping early stage companies through the Techstars mentorship driven accelerator model.

Ten Year Futures

Benedict Evans

"Machine learning is happening right now, and rolls through or perhaps underneath the entire tech industry as a new fundamental computer science capability - and of course enables both mixed reality and autonomous cars. Like, perhaps, relational databases or (in a smaller way) smartphone location, machine learning is a building block that will be part of everything, making many things better and enabling some new and surprising companies and products."

One-and-Done Approach to Fundraising

Wade Foster

"You see a lot more companies that are going at it for a long time with minimal funding or no funding at all. A lot of times these companies don't get talked about as much. The media isn't as drawn to those stories, so there's less visibility into companies that do it that way."

Structured Accountability

Alex Krause

"When companies make the decision to join an accelerator, they're certainly gaining a lot of important financial and network resources. But, they're also gaining a critical training on teaching their teams how to create good work habits."

Hiring Engineers

Ammon Bartram

"Bootcamps versus CS degree I don't think are all that different. Now that's obviously a forceful statement. So I think experience matters more than where you got your education. So someone come fresh out of a CS program who doesn't have internships, is still essentially a junior engineer. And, perhaps, they may have a more academic slant to what they've studied, than someone out of a bootcamp. But both those people lack real world experience."
